"Thyme is an aromatic herb that is used in cooking, medicines and as a decoration. It is part of the mint family and relative of oregano genus. Thyme has a strong and full flavor and really for its culinary use. Its blossoms are light blue in colour, with a striped calyx. It grows on fallow land all over Greece and blooms in June and July and its use has been known since antiquity. It is said, that Ancient Greeks and Romans, used this herb’s extracts in their baths and as a massage oil.
